📚 Suttapiṭaka – Discourses (The Heart of the Teaching)

The Sutta Piṭaka contains the discourses of the Buddha and records of his dialogues with disciples and seekers. These texts present the Dhamma in a direct and practical way, guiding the reader in understanding suffering, its origin, and the path leading to its cessation. They offer instruction for both meditation and daily life, showing how wisdom can be gradually developed. For many, this collection is the most accessible and essential entry point into the Buddha’s teaching.

🪷  Abhidhammapiṭaka – Analytical Teaching (Systematic Analysis of the Dhamma)

The Abhidhammapiṭaka presents a systematic and detailed analysis of the Buddha’s teaching. Unlike the Suttapiṭaka, which conveys the Dhamma through dialogues and practical situations, the Abhidhamma breaks experience down into precise categories of phenomena (dhammas) and examines their interrelationships, conditionality, and the functioning of mind and reality. This approach allows for a deeper understanding of how mental processes arise, how experience is formed, and how the conditioned nature of all phenomena can be recognized. It is a tradition focused on analytical clarity and the systematic study of reality.

Below you will find selected Abhidhammapiṭaka texts and related materials available as e-books.
