Bhikkhunī Visuddhi is a fully ordained Theravāda Buddhist nun and teacher of Dhamma and meditation. Her life is dedicated to practice, study, and the transmission of the Buddha’s teaching. Through her guidance, students are invited to cultivate mindfulness, wisdom, and compassion in their daily lives.
Meeting with Venerable Bhikkhunī Visuddhi
Meeting a member of the monastic community (Saṅgha) offers a rare opportunity to connect with the living tradition of the Buddha’s teaching. Visitors are kindly asked to respect the basic principles of conduct in accordance with the Vinaya. Here you will find guidance on how to address a bhikkhunī, how to offer dāna, and how to approach the meeting with respect and awareness.
The Karuṇā Sevena Association is a small community of practitioners who support the monastic life of Bhikkhunī Visuddhi. Rooted in the principle of mutuality, it brings together lay support and spiritual guidance, helping to sustain the living presence of the Dhamma while also supporting compassionate projects such as Suriya Lamai.
