List of Food and Products
The life of a Buddhist nuns living according to the 311 monastic rules depends on us, on the support of the laity. Besides food, other goods and supplies are needed for the Venerable Bhikkhunī Visuddhi and the running of the ārāma Karuṇā Sevena. We have selected for you a list of basic foods and products according to a healthy diet.
THE DĀNA IN ĀRĀMA IS GIVEN EVERY DAY AT 10 A.M.
You will hand over the dāna (gifts) to the Venerable in a bowl, or prepare the dāna in paper bags if it is larger. Choose from the following options that can be purchased, personally brought or sent. It is not necessary to purchase everything.

Dairy drinks, sour products: semi-skimmed milk, white yoghurt up to 3-4% fat, non-fat or low-fat cottage cheese, cooking cream up to 12%, sour cream light, coconut milk

Cheeses: hard cheeses up to 30 %, cottage cheese, mozzarella light (30 %), ricotta, parmesan, grana padano 30 %, low-fat cottage cheese, sliced cheese - 30 %, grating hard cheese - 30 %, Hermelin Figura, camembert Linea

Spreads: Palouček or Lučina Linea, Gervais, soya or bean spread, tofu spread, butter

Vegetables: radishes, kohlrabi, cucumber, carrots, field greens, arugula, watermelon, iceberg lettuce, romaine lettuce, baby spinach, frozen vegetables, zucchini, peas, corn, broccoli, cauliflower, hokkaido squash, kale, turmeric, ginger

Medicines, Drugstores and Equipments for the ārāma Karuṇā Sevena

Natural medicines: vitamin D, E, B12, B6, Magnesium, Calcium

Household products: ecological products from Ecover, Sanytol, Mr. Proper, Anti Covid disinfectant, disposable gloves and drapes

Natural cosmetics: e.g. Kneipp, olive oil, aloe vera soap (please do not buy cheap chemical soaps, shower gels etc.)

Shaving gels and refills for shavers: Gilette Fusion or Mach 3

Buddha sticks (it is not a good idea to buy cheap sticks, especially those on a wooden stick, as they are irritating and can cause meditators to cough). Chinese or Japanese sticks, which are mixed and prepared without a wooden handle, are more suitable.

Printer refills: Canon i-SENSYS MF8080Cw (colours black, blue, yellow, red) + office paper, stationery.

Garden: donations can also be made for flowers, organic fertilizer and soil for flowers, bark or tools can be purchased by arrangement.
